Yoga 'Haram' absolute truth or relative / subjective truth?

Why Yoga was banned in Malaysia? The reasoning was based on Islamic truth.

Generally speaking there are two types of truths one of it, is the truth based on our faith which grounded based on religion and culture. The other truth is the real truth i.e the absolute truth which we are trying to seek from philosophy.

In religion and cultural truth we MUST accept the truth without any conditions or questions. Therefore the truth is absolute in the eye of the faith, culture or religion. The moment we doubt it, it amount to putting our own shoe in our mouth. Therefore generally we own doubt or question our belief system and religion. This concept is known as subjective or relative truths.

In contrast for absolute truth we doubt everything it is like a process of ‘no stone is unturned’. This will be a pain sticking process for those have relied on subjective or relative truths.

Based on this premise by declaring Yoga as Haram it is only reflecting subjective or relative truth and not absolute truth. So, the absolute truth is still on the air. Is yoga ought to be dealer as haram? Yes in the perspective of subjective or relative truth and NO in the eyes of absolute truth. So enjoy doing it.

The Olympic dilemma

The fact of case

Beijing 2008 Olympic, its opening ceremony was held in very grand way by singing the patriotic song Ode to the Motherland. According to Mr.Chen Qigang, the general music designer of the ceremony the little girl – Lin Miaoke who sings and stared the Olympic opening ceremony was only miming the words. Lin Miaoke had been picked only for her looks. The real singer, Yang Peiyi was apparently considered not pretty enough for China’s grand show. The seven years old girl Yang Peiyi who has chubby face and uneven teeth was rejected to be on the center of stage because she was not attractive enough. (She appears to be losing her milk teeth, and her two front teeth are only partially grown, at slightly awkward angles). The show attracted 91,000 capacity crowd at the Olympic stadium during the spectacular ceremony and billions viewer watched the grand opening worldwide.

According to Mr Chen Qigang ‘the reason why the little Yang was not chosen to appear was because we wanted to project the right image, we were thinking about what was best for the nation.’ He added ‘the reason was for the national interest. The child on camera should be flawless in image, internal feelings, and expression’.

What is your comment on the above issue? Is that ethical to fix the girl to have a flawless event? Is Mr Chen Qigang’s reasoning is justifiable?

Why ISA?

ISA is not the way to solve problems. look like the government has no alternative way to solve a problem. Generally speaking there is no deference between Malaysian government and caveman's government. Both are living in dark and believing illusion are truth. We should enlighten this government and help the people to liberate from the illusion... how to do it?

Bar council 'Conversion to Islam'

On 09.08.2008 at 8.15am i was at in front of BAR council to attend a controversial forum about 'Conversion to Islam'. Bar council believe that conflicts between Muslims and Non-Muslim should be resolved through open discussion. Prior to the forum UMNO government and other NGO of Muslim brothers have warned warned the Bar council to NOT to have such a sensitive forum or dialogues as it is may create dissatisfaction among Muslim friends.

The reason for me to be there was to see what is the reaction of Malaysian citizens on this Issue of Article, 121 (1A) of Malaysia's constitution which states that civil courts have no jurisdiction on "any matter" which falls within the jurisdiction of the Syariah (Sharia, Islamic Law) courts.

Article 121(1A) has been criticised by Malaysian Lawyers and Human Right NGO saying the article infringe fundamental human rights. However due to political and religious reason the courts have been reluctant and refuse to go head with the article but push the case to syariah court.

The chronology of event as to 09.08.2008

8.15am at in front of Bar council there were about 20 to 30 muslim friends
8.30am at in front of Bar council there were about 50 muslim friends and they started to hold banners which stated "Awas Bar council 'Jangan main api'", "Jangan cabar kesucian agama Islam" Jangan cabar islam

around 9am - Our Muslim brothers started to shout using words like
Allah huh akbar (for many times)
Hidup... Hidup... Hidup Islam
Hancur...hancur... Bar council hancur,(for many times)
la ilha ilha... la ilha ilha... ilha....
Takbir.... allah hu akbar........
...Rempoh....Rempoh..Bar council (For Many times)

around 9.30am
speach by many Muslim leaders (PAS, PKR- Kulim Bandar Baru MP Zulkifli Nordin, UMNO and NGOs)warning Bar council for organizing events that will invite unwanted anger among Malaysian and asking Muslim brothers to be united regardless of political differences and race... 'Kita mesti bersatupadu menentang ancaman terhadap Islam'
this was the pick time to have a emotional tension among the Muslim brothers.
They went out of control.... they just yell.....scream and shout... with the name of Allah and mix some bad and unwanted words....

about 50 policemen and Federal Reserve Unit Personnel members lined themselves between the crowd and the building entrance.

at around 9.45am the situation become worse and Muslim brothers started to push the police and FRU personnel.... the situation become worse when they yell with islamic provation words.... the police manage to control the situation..... 'rempoh....rempoh..rempoh atas nama islam...'

Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Zulkarnian Abdul Rahman storm to the bar coucil conference hall and asked them to stop the forum. At 10.04am datuk Ambiga announced that the forum is stop early.

3 days ago the Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid made his remark.... "Bar coucil 'Jangan mail api'" this is a real politicians word. Syed Hamid's statement clearly provoke Muslim friends. This was followed by Utusan Malaysia and other local Bahasa dailies impliedly saying 'Islam is under attract by non-muslim'

The situation become worst when more politicians(UMNO) started to make a general statement tinted with emotion and threatening Malays and Muslims' rights in Malaysia. Look at the level of over leaders political maturity? Similar Stategy was used by Dato Harun and other UMNO leaders when DAP and GERAKAN won majority during 1968 General election in which UMNO deny the fact with contributing to the May 13 incident.

Take a look the bolow statments....

Utusan Malaysia/Mingguan
10.08.2008 - Forum Memeluk Islam tamat lebih awal bagi elak kejadian buruk
- Dr. M. Majlis Peguam langgar perjanjian
- Rumah Shahrizat dilempar bom petrol
- ISA terhadap Majlis Peguam
- Forum berjaya Ambiga

11.08.2008 - Head line-Pelbagai pihak mahu tindakan tegas terhadap Majlis Peguam
Desak guna ISA
- Mohd.

Base on the above progress i conclude malaysians' are in process of change and our 'Old politicians' have not enought brains to face the new challenges. They keep on using 'ISA' as a tool to supress peoples' interest. Take my word BN will collapse very soon if they keep on using 'ISA' for every small matters. UMNO and BN are in the hight level of denial stage. Good bye.

From Jalan Tun Sambanthan 3 to Jalan 20/146 Sg Besi KL

I have no clear idea when was the very first time i made a complain to the government on the interest of RAKYAT. When i was in University Malaya as a undergraduate as usual i complain many things. There was a instant progress from my complain. It is all about breaking library's wall for renovation purpose during exam time. They stop it when my reasoning was plausible.

I have been writing many complains to government bodies and the progress is generally slow. The last complain i made was about a drain at Jalan Tun Sambanthan 3, Brickfields. During havy rain in December 2006 a drain facing to Jalan Tun Sambanthan 3 had collapsed. The stall owners along the road complaint to DBKL. DBKL did not take any action.

In April and June 2007 i wrote letters to DBKL and Health Ministry saying the drain had collapse and it cause problems to the shop owners as the waste water doesn't move. I called DBKL and Health Ministry few times according to Health ministry the problem ought be solve by DBKL. DBKL said pegawai pergi kursus. After a month i call DBKL they said the matter has been forward to higher authority but there wasn't any progress. I had a meeting with the shop owners to send a memorandum to the government pertaining the drain problem but the shop owners stoped me worrying their rice bowl will be in jeopardy i.e DBKL would confiscate their shop licence.

After that i was busy with other RAKYATS' problem and was waiting for election. During election time the shop owners' went to see BN candidate for Bukit Bintang constituency. But he was so busy and he lost in March 8 2008 election.

In June 2008, i started the old issue with new spirit. Telling to myself things will never change unless I change it. This time i was very aggressive i call Dato Palanivel (MIC Deputy President), Dato Dr Subramaniam - BN Segamat, The new MP for Bukit Bintang YB Fong Kui Lun (DAP), YB Dewamani (MP for Cameron Highland - BN)and Dato Saravanan Murugan - MP for Tapah, BN. Dato Palanivel responded via SMS and Dato Saravanan answered my call.

Dato Palanivel and Dato Saravanan asked me to refer to Mr Pabja Moorty at MIC building. He refer me to DBKL. At DBKL Ms Tan direct me to Mr Richard (engineer) he called me and assured that the problem will be solve. As he Mr Richard said on July second week 2008 DBKL's contractor started their work at the drain site and the work is still on progress.

The wisdom of this story is things will never change unless you take a initiative to change it. If you want to see difference, you have to work for it.

If you have a time please visit Jalan Tun Sambanthan 3 for visit Brickfields week.

Jalan 20/146 Sg Besi KL.... will be reported tomorrow onward

Gerakan remind DAP to be a racist

Today (22.07.2008-Tuesday), Gerakan which was defeated by DAP in Pulau Penang or Pinang Island has started to have roads name in Chinese characters. The reason being to have roads name in Chinese characters is to remind DAP to keep its word on having road signs in Chinese.

Former Penang Municipal Council Dr. Thor Teong Ghee, who is a Penang Gerakan Youth committee member said this move is vital as George Town had been listed as a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Is this vital to have road names in Chinese character?

According to DAP spk man - Koay Teng Hai DAP assemblyman for Pulau tikus said DAP is in the process of having roads name in Tamil and Jawi. Is this necessary?

Why Gerakan and DAP wants to be a racist party or government? the reason being is they have learned this behaviour of 'Be a true racist, rule as racist' was inherited from UMNO. This would be a good example how the syndrome of racism had affected other parties.

The main issue is why should we have roads name in Chinese, Tamil or In Jawi? It will be sufficient to have roads name in Bahasa Malaysia and English provided the writing is big enough to read. Why Gerakan and DAP wants to be a racist? If a particular road's name is 'Jalan Lebuh Pantai' which was initially 'Beach Street' let it be as it is.

Do not change the history of the road for example From Batu Road to Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman,Gurney Road to Jalan Semarak or Independence Road to Jalan Suasa 3(at Sungai Besi). Every road has its own history and do not change the history in the name of Malaysianation or civilisation. Do not diverged rakyats' thinking in the name of civilisation and malaysianation indeed you are being racist.

Malaysia is a racist country - part 1

Malaysia is a racist country.... is this an opinion or fact? If it is a mere opinion you can ignore it. But i have a fact to support my utterance...... Malaysia political parties are made base on Race i.e UMNO- Malaysia United Malay Organization (the leading racist party) followed by MCA- Malaysian Chinese party this party was formed in 1949 to protect Malaya Chinese society from communist threat. MIC or Malayan India Congress was formed in 1946 similar to UMNO foundation year. Initially the British government endorse this parties to make the country move forward i.e to gain an independence. However the local parties had acted much more smart then the British, UMNO, MIC and MCA had fixed themselves with this convenient racial base politic.

As today(21.07.2008)News Papers, New Straits times (NST), The Start and The Sun reported the current Prime minister- Abdullah Badawi had met tree times with PAS the opposition party's key persons to discuss Malays' solidarity and religious importance. This is a clear fact to explain Malaysia politic is very much depend on RACIAL.... racial.... racial interest. UMON and PAS will come together if they talk about Malays' issues and rights.

May 13, 1969 was a landmark history for Malaysia. In Which Tun Abdul Razak the second prime minister of Malaysia for the first time invited PAS to joint UMNO and the Alliance. This was a genius idea to kill opposition party. If you cannot fight your enemy just invite them to join you. This was done with the interest of Malay solidarity. However this had failed.

MCA, Non-Chinese cannot be a member of MCA, this is stated in MCA's Constitution. Non-Malays can never be able to join UMNO, perhaps Mamak can join UMNO. What about MIC? No one is interested to join MIC as it's a single man's party - Samy vellu's party. Joining MIC is not to serve Malaysia Indian but to serve Samy and his colleagues.

The million dollars question is WHY race based politic? How can this race base politic survivor? Whould this racist concept evolve?

the discussion will be continue..... rushing to class..

John Locke - understanding of learning

John Locke's primary idea of learning is through senses/sensation. This can be categorised as primary way of learning. This would be the best way for children to learn. The learning is essential for preocupational learning. However for higher order learning i.e reasoning Locke's way of learning may not useful.
